Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Fabian Cameron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cristian Romero! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Cameron misses. Cameron uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Romero with a lazy takedown attempt and Cameron counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cameron jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Romero on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cameron throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Romero stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Cameron scores with a jab to the head.
Cameron misses with a body shot.
Cameron lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice combination there by Cameron.
Cameron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Romero shoots and misses and Cameron counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cameron shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Romero's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cameron working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Romero working a defensive guard here.
Romero wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cameron pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Romero is keeping the position for now. Romero not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cameron trying to control but Romero is working from the bottom. Romero is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cristian Romero. Cameron misses with a hook. Romero ducked under it nicely. Cameron gets the takedown into side control. Romero tries to improve position but can't. Cameron tries to advance to mount but Romero denies him. Romero striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Cameron tries for a kimura but Romero is defending well. Romero prevents Cameron from moving into mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cameron thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Romero is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cameron is looking to take a break and control but Romero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cameron tries for a kimura but Romero is defending well. Romero struggling a bit here. Romero avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cameron. Romero parries the strikes from Cameron easily there. Cameron is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Romero to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cameron looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Romero is trying to control Cameron's posture but Cameron avoids it. Romero is trying to improve his position. Cameron working away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cameron thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cameron trying to control the action but Romero is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabian Cameron dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cameron scores with a punch to the head. Cameron displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romero. Romero misses with a wild body shot. Cameron scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Cameron works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Romero shoots in looking for a takedown. Cameron tries to sprawl out of it but Romero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cameron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A momentary lapse in concentration from Romero enables Cameron to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Romero manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cameron is pushing down on Romero's leg trying to pass to half guard. Romero is fighting to maintain full guard but Cameron has managed to sneak the leg through. Romero is trying to stand.

Cameron looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Romero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cameron throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Romero trying to control but Cameron postures up.
Romero is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cameron thows a huge punch but Romero dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romero wants to control but Cameron is keeping busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cristian Romero. Cameron getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Cameron works the jab nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cameron scores with a body shot.
Romero has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Romero there as he acknowledges the shot. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Romero is defended easily by Cameron. Fabian Cameron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cristian Romero. Romero defending well as Cameron loads up on a big left hand. The fighters circle momentarily. Cameron darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Romero on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Cameron stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cameron wants it to stay on the feet. Cameron throws a right and a left that Romero avoids nicely. Romero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cameron tries to avoid it but Romero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cameron to the ground. Cameron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Romero on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cameron scores with a jab to the body. Romero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Good shot there by Cameron. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Romero misses the jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cameron jabs Romero to the body, keeping him at a distance. Cameron misses with a looping left. Romero drops his hands momentarily and Cameron takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Romero misses with a takedown attempt enabling Cameron to counter with a crisp jab. Fabian Cameron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romero is breathing heavily. Cameron scores with a body shot.
Romero takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cameron connects with a right hand. Romero shakes it off.
Romero is rocked! Romero needs to keep his hands up - Cameron had a free shot at his head there. Romero is still on wobbly legs! Can Cameron finish him? Cameron cracks Romero on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Romero falls backwards against the cage. Cameron follows up with more strikes that drop Romero to his knees. Cameron keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Romero! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Fabian Cameron made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
