Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniels Drinkis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bret Hart's Theme Song. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniels Drinkis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bret Hart! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drinkis misses with a left hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Hart ducks under a wild hook from Drinkis. Hart connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Daniels Drinkis has been cut. Hart listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Daniels Drinkis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hart misses with a wild body shot. Drinkis misses the shot to the body. Drinkis misses with a hook. Hart displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Drinkis. Drinkis dips to his left and cracks Hart with an uppercut! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Drinkis.
Hart will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drinkis pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hart fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Drinkis misses with a lunging right hand
and Hart counters with a straight right hand. Drinkis throws a looping overhand right but Hart ducks down to avoid it. Drinkis gets a clinch. Hart prevents a body shot from Drinkis. Drinkis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Stalling in the clinch from Drinkis.
Drinkis can't find room to land a body shot as Hart controls the action.
Drinkis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hart's efforts to push away. Drinkis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hart blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hart wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Drinkis takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drinkis manages to avoid it. Hart throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drinkis. This has been an exciting period of action! Drinkis missing with a left hand there. Hart was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Horrible takedown by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Drinkis which made him look bad. Drinkis clinches up against the cage. Drinkis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Drinkis. A frustrated look appears on Hart's face as he tries to break the clinch. Drinkis is pushing Hart up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Hart works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hart lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Drinkis backwards. Hart gets through Drinkis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Drinkis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hart. Drinkis misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Drinkis is pressed up against the cage. Hart has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Drinkis down to the mat. Drinkis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Daniels Drinkis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hart.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drinkis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hart was well out of range. Poor timing from Drinkis. Hart tries a head kick but it misses.

Drinkis moves into the clinch. Drinkis throws a punch but it's blocked by Hart. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hart blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hart as Drinkis tries to tie him up. Drinkis has a couple of punches blocked by Hart.
Drinkis misses with the head strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drinkis lands a body shot in the clinch.
Drinkis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hart just stands there and leans against the cage. Hart breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniels Drinkis will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Daniels Drinkis's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drinkis is defended easily by Hart. Drinkis connects with the punch. Hart throws a hook but Drinkis blocks it. Hart connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hart tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Drinkis is able to avoid easily. Drinkis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Bret Hart has been cut. Hart takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Drinkis throws a right hand that Hart ducks under and follows up with a left that Hart also avoids with ease. Hart throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Drinkis lands a jab to the nose. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hart wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Drinkis finds it's way through Hart's defenses. Hart blocks a jab. Hart connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Drinkis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hart trying to control the position from guard on top but Drinkis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hart makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hart wants to control from the top but Drinkis keeps moving. Drinkis is looking for a triangle but Hart pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hart trying to control the position from guard on top but Drinkis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hart won't allow Drinkis to sweep him here. Hart postures up and lands a big shot to Drinkis's brow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hart with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hart postures up and lands a big shot to Drinkis's brow. Hart works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hart is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drinkis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hart is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drinkis actively working from the bottom here. Hart seems to be working for a kimura but Drinkis defends the submission attempt. Hart is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Drinkis looking for submissions off his back. Hart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drinkis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Drinkis is staying active underneath Hart, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hart throws a strike but Drinkis avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Hart passes Drinkis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hart is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Drinkis wants to improve his position but Hart is controlling well.
Drinkis regains full guard. Nicely done. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drinkis working for a triangle but Hart defends it easily.

Bret Hart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Hart with a poor takedown and Drinkis counters with a two punch combo. Hart throws a sloppy head kick and Drinkis moves out of range easily. Drinkis throws a front kick aimed at Hart's knee but Hart avoids it well. Drinkis thows a body shot but no joy. Drinkis slips a straight right by Hart. Drinkis looks to land a left hand but Hart moved out of range nicely. Hart misses with an uppercut. Drinkis saw that one coming. Drinkis forces Hart back against the cage and clinches.

A shot in the inside from Drinkis. Hart is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hart being controlled against the cage. Hart lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Drinkis throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Hart lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hart's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Drinkis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Drinkis misses the shot to the body. Drinkis misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drinkis looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hart tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drinkis swivels and escapes. Daniels Drinkis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hart. A swing and a miss from Drinkis. Hart looks to score with a jab to the body but Drinkis is just out of range. Hart fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Drinkis. Drinkis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Drinkis instigates a clinch. Drinkis tries to stall but Hart uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Will he get it? Drinkis is fending him off so far but Hart persists. Nope, Drinkis circles away and we're back to standing. Hart finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Drinkis's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hart falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniels Drinkis!
