PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Mask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Kantola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mask comes into the arena with Coming to Light Your Ass Up blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiger Mask!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Kantola!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantola lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mask lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kantola has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kantola and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mask slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Kantola has hold of Mask's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mask tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kantola cranks the arm and Mask screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mask, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Antti Kantola!
