Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Chase!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chase.

Chase rushes Stout and presses him up against the cage.
Chase tries to land knees in the clinch but Stout avoids the damage to the body.
Chase tries to land a knee to the head but Stout blocks with his arms.
Stout blocks an elbow strike.
Chase lands a nice knee to the body.
Chase throws a knee to the head but misses.
Chase lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Trey Stout has been cut.
Stout is trying to stall.
Chase tries to land knees in the clinch but Stout avoids the damage to the body.
Chase misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stout.
Stout takes an elbow to the forehead.
Chase tries to land a knee to the head but Stout blocks with his arms.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Stout takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Chase gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Chase throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stout blocks it with crossed arms.

Chase using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stout has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Chase gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stout.
Chase unloads a knee to the mid-section. Stout lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Stout tries to break the clinch but Chase is controlling the position.
Stout has had enough of the clinch but Chase keeps him there for the moment.

Trey Stout's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chase comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Stout is looking to break free of the clinch but Chase has double underhooks.
Chase throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Chase is pressed up against the cage. Stout has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chase down to the mat. Chase avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Stout stalks Chase and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chase's face. Chase staggers backwards, shaken.
Stout tries to bum rush Chase with a series of wild strikes but Chase uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chase misses with a head kick.
Stout takes a swing at Chase's ribcage but misses.
Johnny Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stout tries a head kick but it misses.
Stout shoots for a takedown but Chase saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Stout. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stout misses with a series of wild punches.
Johnny Chase is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Chase stuffs the takedown.
Chase lands a high kick!
Chase lands with a kick to the temple. Stout shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Jeez, Trey Stout's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trey Stout's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johnny Chase!
