Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Mexico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry comes to the cage accompanied by We're Both In Love With a Sexy Lady. Mexico is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I want war. Ron Mexico struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Buster Cherry could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ron Mexico's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mexico tries to avoid it but Cherry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mexico to the ground. Mexico escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mexico darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mexico is looking to take a break and control but Cherry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cherry shoots in looking for a takedown. Mexico tries to sprawl out of it but Cherry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mexico manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
