The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freud shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Winters but Winters pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Winters misses with a straight right.
Freud ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Winters moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Freud.
Winters tries to clinch up but Freud circles away and keeps his distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Winters wants to lay and pray for a moment but Freud keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Freud shoots and misses
and Winters counters with a single leg into guard. Freud didn't expect that.
