Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harald Friedricksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ward Cee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Friedricksen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Pursuit of Vikings by Amon Amarth. The key to victory for Harald Friedricksen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Harald Friedricksen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ward Cee! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friedricksen connects with a right hand. Cee shakes it off.
It looks like Ward Cee has been cut. Cee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Friedricksen is fending him off so far but Cee persists. Nope, Friedricksen circles away and we're back to standing. Friedricksen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ward Cee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Friedricksen. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cee. Friedricksen lands a high kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cee feints and as Friedricksen raises his hands in defense, Cee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cee wants to control from the top but Friedricksen keeps moving. Friedricksen controlling the position. Friedricksen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Friedricksen keeping full guard, as Cee tries to pass. Cee trying to control the position from guard on top but Friedricksen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Friedricksen wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Friedricksen keeping moving, preventing Cee from controlling successfully.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ward Cee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Harald Friedricksen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ward Cee. Cee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Friedricksen on his heels. He'll look to pass Friedricksen's guard now, I'm sure. Cee looking to pass the guard. Cee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Friedricksen's guard. Cee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cee seems to be working for a kimura but Friedricksen defends the submission attempt. Cee is looking to advance position but Friedricksen won't allow it. Cee is looking for a kimura but Friedricksen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cee to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Friedricksen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cee trying to advance position but Friedricksen counters by regaining guard. Cee tries to free his leg and advance position but Friedricksen is retaining full guard. Cee trying to control but Friedricksen is working from the bottom. Cee wants to pass the guard but Friedricksen is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cee is stalling in the full guard. Friedricksen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Friedricksen tries to get out of the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Friedricksen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Friedricksen has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cee wants to sweep here but Friedricksen controlling him for the moment. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We're going to have a standup here because Harald Friedricksen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cee drops his hands momentarily and Friedricksen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Cee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Friedricksen as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Harald Friedricksen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ward Cee's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cee is defended easily by Friedricksen. Cee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cee tries for a takedown but Friedricksen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harald Friedricksen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ward Cee. Friedricksen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Friedricksen gets caught napping as Cee dives in and scores a takedown. Friedricksen manages to retain guard. Cee is looking to work some ground and pound but Friedricksen has wrist control. Cee advances to half guard. Cee throwing shots but Friedricksen is blocking nicely. Friedricksen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cee on the ground. Cee is trying to control the action in half guard but Friedricksen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cee wants to advance to full mount but Friedricksen doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Cee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Friedricksen is keeping the position for now. Cee wants to control from the top but Friedricksen keeps moving. Cee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ward Cee was stalling too much, according to the referee. Friedricksen just misses with a punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Friedricksen slips a straight right by Cee. Cee fails with the takedown. Cee shoots in for a double leg but Friedricksen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cee misses with a takedown and Friedricksen counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Friedricksen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cee moves out of range as Friedricksen throws a body kick.
Friedricksen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Friedricksen wants it to stay on the feet. Harald Friedricksen is winning the standup battle so far. Cee drops his hands momentarily and Friedricksen needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Cee just on the top of the head. Cee drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Cee - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Harald Friedricksen! Harald Friedricksen seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
