Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Haile Selassie I!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selassie I uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Selassie I scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Black doesn't seem bothered though.
Selassie I fails in his attempt to clinch.
No luck for Black with that takedown attempt.
Black misses with a takedown attempt - Selassie I sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Black shoots for a double leg takedown but Selassie I sprawls well. He's pushed Black's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Black takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Selassie I darts in and clinches Black up against the cage.

Selassie I's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Black takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Selassie I fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Black has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Selassie I with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Haile Selassie I seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Black takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Selassie I jabs Black right on the nose. Black blinks but takes it well.
Selassie I connects with a right hand. Black shakes it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Selassie I lands a nice looking kick to the body. Black takes a step back to recover.
Black is breathing heavily.
A left lands for Selassie I.
Selassie I connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Black tumbling to the canvas! Selassie I pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Black was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Haile Selassie I!
In his post fight interview, Haile Selassie I started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
