The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin fakes the leg kick and cracks Savicki in the body.
Savicki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Xin throws a head kick but Savicki moves out of range.
Xin lands a nice looking body kick.
Savicki is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A solid leg kick lands there for Xin.
Xin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters circling a little - Xin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

A big head kick from Xin and Savicki is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Robert Savicki has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Xin wanted to stand there but Savicki had control of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Xin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savicki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Savicki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Xin defends it easily.
Xin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Savicki is proving hard to escape from.

Savicki looking for a guillotine here but Xin defends easily.
Xin is looking to stand up but Savicki won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xin is sitting in close to Savicki's body. Savicki has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Xin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Xin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Savicki.
