Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teijo Tarzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnie McDougle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarzan cracks the inside of McDougle's front leg.

Tarzan throws a jab when McDougle was well out of range.
McDougle tries to close the distance and clinch but Tarzan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tarzan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tarzan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tarzan throws a jab but it's blocked by McDougle.
Tarzan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tarzan takes a kick to the side of the head.
Tarzan misses with an uppercut.
Teijo Tarzan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDougle goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and McDougle counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tarzan's knee momentarily.
Tarzan throws a jab but it's blocked by McDougle.
McDougle moves into range and connects with a jab.
McDougle connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McDougle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and McDougle counters with a nice body kick.
McDougle steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tarzan.
Tarzan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tarzan is really struggling to find his range with his punches. McDougle's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Tarzan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

McDougle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tarzan's hands.

McDougle lands a big head kick that sends Tarzan tumbling to the mat! McDougle takes a step backwards and waves Tarzan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McDougle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tarzan's hands.

Tarzan is rocked!

McDougle throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tarzan avoids the head kick by McDougle.
Tarzan connects with the punch.
A jab from Tarzan does it's job there.
Tarzan misses the shot to the body.
McDougle throws a front kick that sends Tarzan stumbling back into the cage.
Tarzan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

McDougle cracks Tarzan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McDougle has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tarzan to stand back up!
McDougle has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

McDougle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tarzan, pushing him back against the cage.
Tarzan is trying to break the clinch but McDougle has him pressed against the cage.
McDougle trying to control the position but instead, Tarzan has worked for underhooks and has pushed McDougle into the cage.

Tarzan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

McDougle lands a big uppercut and Tarzan crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tarzan looks OK. McDougle waves Tarzan back to his feet!
Oh Tarzan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDougle throws a body punch but Tarzan moves out of range.
Tarzan seems to have got his legs back now.
McDougle scores with a nice body kick.

McDougle lands a big uppercut and Tarzan crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tarzan looks OK. McDougle waves Tarzan back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDougle throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
McDougle closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Tarzan out cold! Tarzan corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
