Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Skins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Skins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Skins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Ken Hansen! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hansen throws a nice outside leg kick. Skins takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A slapping leg kick lands for Hansen.
Hansen cracks Skins with an open hand slap. Skins darts in and clinches Hansen up against the cage. Knees to the body from Hansen.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hansen. Hansen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hansen landing some nice looking knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hansen has clasped his hands together around Skins's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Skins on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Hansen throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Hansen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Skins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Skins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hansen on the ground. Skins taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen tries to move to mount but Skins blocks the move with his legs. Hansen stands up and beckons Skins to his feet. Skins shoots in for a takedown but Hansen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Skins throws a head kick but Hansen moves out of range.
Hansen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Skins's calf. Hansen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansen trying to control the position from guard on top but Skins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hansen chips away with some ground and pound. Skins thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Hansen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Hansen wants to control but Skins is keeping him busy. Hansen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hansen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Skins is trying to escape and Hansen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Skins is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hansen! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ken Hansen! In his post fight interview, Ken Hansen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
