Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baggins has chosen Moves Like Jagger as his entrance music. Sam Smith could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Frodo Baggins's chin.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Frodo Baggins! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith throws a poor cross that misses
and Baggins counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Baggins gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Sam Smith has been cut. Baggins is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Smith has had enough of the clinch but Baggins keeps him there for the moment. Baggins lands a hook to the side of the head. Baggins utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Baggins utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Smith managing to block the knees to the body from Baggins.
Smith can't break the clinch.
Baggins is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Smith is defending well for now. Baggins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Baggins tries to land a knee to the head but Smith blocks with his arms.

Smith tries to circle away but Baggins has him pinned against the cage. Smith lands with a short head shot on the inside. Baggins putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Smith in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Baggins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A nice glancing elbow lands by Baggins. Smith is trying to break the clinch but Baggins is controlling him. Smith has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Baggins lands a nice knee to the body. Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith throws a hook but Baggins avoids it easily. Smith throws a right and a left that Baggins avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baggins avoids a punch combination nicely.
Baggins moves out of range as Smith strikes. Baggins tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baggins defending well as Smith loads up on a big left hand. Baggins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sloppy strikes from Smith. Those never looked like landing. Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and Baggins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Baggins. Baggins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Baggins holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Baggins scores with a nice hook to the head. Baggins using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Smith has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baggins lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Baggins using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Baggins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Baggins has Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Baggins is pushing Smith up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Baggins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Baggins tries to land a knee to the head but Smith blocks with his arms.
Smith is trying to push Baggins away but Baggins has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Baggins is looking for a takedown. Baggins creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Smith is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Baggins's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Baggins avoiding damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith jabs Baggins right on the nose. Baggins blinks but takes it well.
Baggins is rocked! Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Baggins is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him? Baggins looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baggins wants to clinch and Smith counters with a right hand from hell and Baggins is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Smith! After the fight, Sam Smith was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
