McCarthy comes to the cage accompanied by Crank That-Soulja Boy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Dela Cruz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McCarthy fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dela Cruz is out of range.
Dela Cruz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McCarthy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dela Cruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
