Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Uusivirta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uusivirta comes to the cage accompanied by Moonsorrow - Huuto. Scott is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kanye West - Power. Maximus Scott is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tarmo Uusivirta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maximus Scott! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Uusivirta connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Scott scrambles back to his feet. Scott bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Uusivirta's head. Scott throws a wild body kick that Uusivirta sees coming a mile off. Uusivirta looks to score with a jab to the body but Scott is just out of range. Scott ducks under a wild hook from Uusivirta. Scott connects with an inside leg kick. Scott throws a right and a left that both miss. Scott checks a leg kick. An inside leg kick from Uusivirta misses. Scott scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Scott lands a jab to the head.
Uusivirta misses with a few strikes there.
Scott looks to land a body kick but Uusivirta moved away. Scott scores with a hook. Uusivirta swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice defenses there by Uusivirta. Uusivirta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scott misses with a leg kick. Nice body kick there by Scott. Uusivirta changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Scott gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Uusivirta is not content to let Scott control the position. Uusivirta won't allow Scott to pass to mount. Scott prevents Uusivirta from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott is looking to take a break and control but Uusivirta is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Uusivirta avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Scott in particular looking to stall. Scott wants to control but Uusivirta is keeping him busy.
Maximus Scott has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Uusivirta throws a leg kick that is checked and Scott counters with a thumping low kick. Uusivirta throws a leg kick but Scott sees it coming and moves out of range. Uusivirta swings away with a leg kick that misses. Scott lands with a shot to the body. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Uusivirta lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tarmo Uusivirta is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scott pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Uusivirta back to the cage. Scott follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Scott bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Scott trying to control the position but Uusivirta is working away. Uusivirta is pushing Scott's head away, looking to escape. Scott manages to hold on to the position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Scott trying to control the action but Uusivirta is working from the bottom. Uusivirta is trying to escape the position but Scott is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott looking to control but instead Uusivirta has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Scott looks to land a strike but Uusivirta avoids it nicely and regains full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Uusivirta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maximus Scott dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Scott misses with the combination.
Scott looks for the body kick but Uusivirta saw that one coming. Uusivirta wants to slow Scott down by chopping away at his legs. Scott misses with an uppercut. Uusivirta saw that one coming. Scott has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Uusivirta throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Uusivirta attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Maximus Scott seems to be getting the better of the standup. Uusivirta throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Uusivirta throws out a leg kick but Scott moves out of range and Uusivirta only half commits. Scott takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Uusivirta just misses with a punch to the body.
Scott connects with a solid leg kick. Scott tries to land a front kick but Uusivirta steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Uusivirta moves out of range of the body kick from Scott.
Uusivirta swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Scott blocks a jab. Uusivirta misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scott.
Scott lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uusivirta pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Uusivirta checks a low kick from Scott. Scott pushes Uusivirta away with a front kick. Uusivirta moves out of range of the body kick from Scott.
Uusivirta lands with a kick to the temple. Scott shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Maximus Scott has been cut. Uusivirta misses with an uppercut. Scott looks to land a right hand but Uusivirta moved out of range. Scott pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Uusivirta back to the cage. Scott follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Tarmo Uusivirta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uusivirta fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Uusivirta moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Scott lets loose with a powerful body kick. Uusivirta will feel that in the morning. Uusivirta needs to keep his hands up - Scott had a free shot at his head there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Scott throws a body punch but Uusivirta moves out of range. Uusivirta scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Uusivirta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Uusivirta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott throws a leg kick but Uusivirta checks it. Uusivirta throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scott sees it coming and avoids it easily. Uusivirta scores with a hook to the body. Scott takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A good leg kick by Scott. A swing and a miss from Uusivirta. Scott keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Scott. Those never looked like landing. Uusivirta clobbers Scott with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Scott explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Uusivirta tried to score with a low kick but Scott checks it. Scott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uusivirta circles away quickly and effectively. Scott thows a body shot but no joy. Uusivirta connects with a leg kick. Scott looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uusivirta tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uusivirta to the ground. Uusivirta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Uusivirta missing with a left hand there. Scott was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Uusivirta staying out of range there. Scott lands with a good body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Scott checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Uusivirta blocks the body kick.

Scott lands a really nice looking cross but Uusivirta seems unphased.
Scott cracks Uusivirta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Uusivirta moves away from the strike by Scott. Uusivirta throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Scott counters with an outside leg kick.
Scott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Scott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Uusivirta wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott controlling his opponent. Scott putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Scott has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! You get the feeling that Uusivirta really doesn't like being in this position too much.

A close second round but Maximus Scott will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Maximus Scott's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Uusivirta lands with an uppercut that bounces Scott off the cage and back into range. Scott tries a head kick but it misses.
Uusivirta on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Scott uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Scott connects with a nice looking jab.
Scott checks a low kick from Uusivirta. Scott misses the jab. Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Uusivirta looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Scott creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Scott controlling the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Scott tries to advance to mount but can't. Uusivirta is pushing Scott's head away, looking to escape. Scott manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott staying calm. Scott trying to control the position but Uusivirta is working away. Scott misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to control the action but Uusivirta is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Uusivirta is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Scott cracks Uusivirta with a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott lands a nice forearm strike. Scott wants to lay and pray for a moment but Uusivirta keeps working. Uusivirta is pushing Scott's head away, looking to escape. Scott manages to hold on to the position though. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Maximus Scott is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Uusivirta is not content to let Scott control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Uusivirta will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Maximus Scott has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Maximus Scott was stalling too much, according to the referee. Scott avoids the head kick by Uusivirta.
And that's the end of the fight! Maximus Scott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Scott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Maximus Scott decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
