Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boa Constrictor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hara comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Eminence front. Constrictor has chosen American Bad Ass as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boa Constrictor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hara throws a body punch but Constrictor moves out of range.
Hara shoots for a double leg takedown but Constrictor sprawls well. He's pushed Hara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Josh Hara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Constrictor throws a leg kick which misses Hara's front leg but catches the back leg as Hara tries to avoid it.

Danga de danga de dang - Constrictor scores with a four punch combination!
Hara throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Constrictor's waist but Constrictor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hara off to one side.
Good work by Constrictor as he checks the leg kick.
Constrictor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hara tries for a takedown but Constrictor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Constrictor wants to control but Hara is keeping busy.
Hara is keen to just control but Constrictor is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hara tries to pass to full mount but Constrictor defends it.

Hara is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Constrictor is just riding it out for now. Hara eventually gives up the hold.

Constrictor is refusing to be controlled, as Hara sits in half guard.
Hara tries to pass the half guard into mount. Constrictor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hara is taking a breather. Constrictor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Donk. Constrictor catches Hara right on the button with a cross.
Constrictor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Constrictor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hara fails with the takedown
and Constrictor counters with a body kick that stops Hara in his tracks momentarily.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Hara.
Hara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Constrictor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hara somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Hara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Constrictor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Constrictor wants it to stay on the feet.
Constrictor throws a shot from downtown. Hara moves away and avoids it.
Constrictor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Constrictor misses with a two punch combination.

Hara closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Constrictor quickly recovers to half guard.
Hara trying to pass the guard but Constrictor defending well.
Constrictor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hara looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hara is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hara uses his free foot to push down on Constrictor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Constrictor.
Hara lands a nice shot to the head.

Hara is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Constrictor can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hara is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Constrictor has managed to escape the submission attempt.
A nice elbow there by Hara.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Constrictor tries to control the position but Hara now has his back.

Constrictor controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Constrictor is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Hara sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Constrictor has no choice but to tap and Hara jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Josh Hara!
