The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Smet misses with a few strikes there.
De Smet closes the distance and clinches.
Bomb is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as De Smet takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
De Smet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bomb closes the distance and clinches up with De Smet, looking for a takedown. Bomb pushes De Smet against the cage but De Smet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The cut above Bart Bomb's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bomb gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! De Smet gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bomb is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
