Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toshiba Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Krueger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi clinches with his opponent.
Gomi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Krueger gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Krueger wants the takedown. Gomi is fighting it off but Krueger persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gomi's guard against the cage.

Gomi jumps guard but Krueger stands there with Gomi around his waist. Gomi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Krueger gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Toshiba Gomi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Krueger rushes Gomi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Krueger is trying to keep Gomi in close.
Krueger looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gomi passes into half guard.
Krueger moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Krueger has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gomi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Krueger.

Freddy Krueger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
