Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Hart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beaver Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne swings for the body but Hart moves out of range.
Hart takes a swing at Wayne's ribcage but misses.
Hart keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hart pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wayne is out of range and Hart settles back down.
Hart with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wayne checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hart was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne.
Beaver Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne connects with a solid leg kick.
Hart blocks a jab.
Hart closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wayne's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hart throws a strike but Wayne rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hart throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hart has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wayne should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hart has tightened it up now! Wayne should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sam Hart!
Sam Hart really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [EVO] Koffin Inc. *Laundry Available* logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
