The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Per Fekt will probably get the nod.

Vanaja shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fekt's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vanaja accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We're going to have a standup here because Per Fekt wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Vanaja swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Fekt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vanaja's head.
Vanaja tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fekt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vanaja somewhat.

It looks like Per Fekt has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fekt delivers a nice body kick.
Vanaja is breathing heavily.
Fekt connects with a right hand. Vanaja shakes it off.
That kick from Fekt tenderised Vanaja's leg. Vanaja is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fekt lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fekt throws a shot to the body.
Fekt cracks Vanaja with an open hand slap.

Fekt connects with an inside leg kick.

Fekt sends Vanaja crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fekt is motioning to the referee to let Vanaja up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Vanaja is rocked!
Fekt weaves into range and cracks Vanaja right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Vanaja goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Fekt is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Per Fekt!

A relieved looking Per Fekt thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
