Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Choy showed some decent athleticism there.
Choy works his foot free and advances to mount.
Choy looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Costa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Costa wants to hold on but Choy pushes him away.

Choy jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Costa is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Costa and Choy has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Costa turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Choy off and cradles Costa's limp body as Choy celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Eddie Choy!
