Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Kopytowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomasz Kopytowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stephen Chow!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Chow as Kopytowski shoots in.
Chow shoots for a double leg takedown but Kopytowski sprawls well. He's pushed Chow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kopytowski is fending him off so far but Chow persists. Nope, Kopytowski circles away and we're back to standing.

Kopytowski tries to sprawl but Chow drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chow wants to take a breather but Kopytowski is having none of it.

Chow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kopytowski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Chow lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Chow stands up and beckons Kopytowski to join him on the feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chow fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kopytowski to the ground. Chow is now in Kopytowski's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Chow fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Chow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kopytowski tries to reverse the position but Chow maintains control.

Chow is working for a guillotine from mount but Kopytowski frees his head quite easily.

Chow has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kopytowski has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Chow is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Chow is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kopytowski has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Stephen Chow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chow closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kopytowski circles away.

Kopytowski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kopytowski.

Chow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kopytowski manages to get himself to full guard.

Chow uses his free foot to push down on Kopytowski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kopytowski.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chow wants to control the pace but Kopytowski is squirming around nicely.
Tomasz Kopytowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Stephen Chow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Chow manages to capitalize on a mistake by Kopytowski to take his back!

Stephen Chow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
