Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Superbeast. Dwight Howard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard throws a nice outside leg kick.
Howard connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ross's hands.
It looks like Dan Ross has been cut.
Ross slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Howard throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Howard lands with a slapping head kick.
Howard throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ross swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Howard scores with a jab. Ross acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Howard misses with a head kick.
Howard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Howard and Ross are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Howard throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Ross into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Howard knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dwight Howard!
In his post fight interview, Dwight Howard started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
