Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brad Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Zebub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by Freestyler. Zebub is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Death March. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Zebub!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan feints and then cracks Zebub's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zebub down.

Ryan takes the fight into the clinch.
Ryan stalling.
Ryan tries to land a knee to the head but Zebub blocks with his arms.
Ryan lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Zebub has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ryan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ryan gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Zebub regains guard.
Ryan wants to pass the guard but Zebub is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryan won't allow Zebub to sweep him here.

Zebub has his foot on Ryan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ryan works his way back into a safe position though.

Ryan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Ryan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Zebub throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ryan uses it to pass to side control.

Ryan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zebub's head backwards.

and Ryan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Zebub fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
