Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takuma Uchida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uchida has chosen Pride as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takuma Uchida! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uchida leaves Dux with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dux has his takedown stuffed and Uchida counters with a head kick. That will keep Dux thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Dux moves out of range as Uchida throws a body kick.
Dux with a poor takedown and Uchida counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dux! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dux tries to reverse the position but Uchida maintains control. Dux tries to hold on but Uchida pushes him away. Uchida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Takuma Uchida. Dux tries for a takedown but Uchida circles away easily and Uchida counters with a nice body kick. Dux shoots and misses and Uchida counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Dux has his takedown stuffed and Uchida counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dux's guard now. Dux is breathing heavily. Uchida slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. It looks like Uchida might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Uchida pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dux is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Takuma Uchida was stalling too much, according to the referee. Dux shoots in for a double leg but Uchida sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dux doesn't succeed with the takedown and Uchida counters with a good, hard body kick but Dux shrugs it off. Dux shoots and misses and Uchida makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dux blocks a head kick by Uchida.
Uchida lands a front kick. Dux avoids a kick to the body.

Uchida lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dux's sensitive parts. Uchida connects with an inside leg kick. Uchida scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Uchida looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Dux is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Uchida has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Uchida! Uchida passes Dux's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Uchida seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dux is trying to get back to full guard. Dux is not content to let Uchida control the position. Dux is looking to control Uchida's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dux avoid being mounted? Dux is staying active underneath Uchida, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dux makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dux. Uchida must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uchida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dux swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dux wants to sweep but no luck. Dux looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Takuma Uchida. Uchida throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dux tries for a takedown but Uchida circles away easily and Uchida counters with a body kick that stops Dux in his tracks momentarily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dux gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Uchida counters with a nice body kick.
Dux misses with a takedown and Uchida makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dux really felt that one! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takuma Uchida dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Uchida throws a body punch but Dux moves out of range. Dux misses with a takedown attempt and Uchida counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dux is lucky that one didn't land flush. Dux shoots and misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Dux shoots and misses and Uchida counters with a solid body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uchida shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dux manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dux keeping full guard, as Uchida tries to pass. Uchida forces his way into half guard. Uchida controlling the pace. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dux wants to control but Uchida is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uchida tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dux knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Uchida wants to work for an arm triangle but Dux is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dux is staying active underneath Uchida, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dux wants to improve his position but Uchida is controlling well.
Dux moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dux has his hands on Uchida's head, controlling the position. Uchida seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uchida wants to get up but he can't break Dux's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Takuma Uchida has got the better of the ground game so far. Dux is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Uchida lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Uchida lands a head kick. Dux smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Dux doesn't succeed with the takedown and Uchida counters with a two punch combo.
Dux is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good leg kick by Uchida there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oh Dux is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Uchida swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Uchida lands a brutal head kick. Dux looks out on his feet and Uchida throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Takuma Uchida! An out of breath Takuma Uchida thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
