Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zedong shoots in but Gunn avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gunn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Zedong gets a double leg takedown into Gunn's guard.
Gunn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zedong drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Zedong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zedong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gunn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zedong shoots in and bounces Gunn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Zedong keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gunn's head.

Zedong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gunn did well to prevent Zedong getting side control.

Zedong wants to take a breather but Gunn is having none of it.
Zedong stands up and beckons Gunn to join him on the feet.

Gunn prevents a body shot from Zedong.
Zedong is trying to break the clinch but Gunn is controlling him.
Zedong turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Zedong gets to mount! Gunn was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zedong breaks from Gunn's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Zedong can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gunn is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mao Zedong dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Zedong clinches up with Gunn and pushes him back against the cage.
Zedong goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gunn prevents it.
Zedong tries to circle away but Gunn has him pinned against the cage.
Zedong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zedong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gunn gets caught flat footed, as Zedong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Zedong content to stall in guard here.
Zedong thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gunn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zedong on the ground.

Zedong wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving.
Zedong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mao Zedong has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Zedong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gunn paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Zedong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gunn as he jumps to the side.
Seth Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mao Zedong.
Zedong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Zedong decides to return to a standing position.
Zedong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Zedong is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gunn is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
