The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grandy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Eastbrook.
Grandy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Eastbrook's sensitive parts.
Eastbrook shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Grandy sprawls well. Grandy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eastbrook gets slowly back to his feet.

Eastbrook fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Grandy to the ground. Eastbrook is now in Grandy's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Eastbrook postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Grandy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grandy is looking to sweep but instead, Eastbrook has passed into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Eastbrook is controlling the pace.
Eastbrook seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Eastbrook slips a nice elbow through Grandy's hands, connecting with Grandy's forehead.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Eastbrook connects with a nice short shot to Grandy's temple.

Eastbrook thows a huge punch but Grandy dodges it nicely.
