Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Celtic Raider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, JJ The Tank!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raider shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Raider was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The Tank regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Tank blocking the ground and pound attempt from Raider.
The Tank gets back to full guard.
Raider trying to stand up but can't free himself from The Tank's guard.

The Tank has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Raider can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Raider landing some decent shots from guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raider looking to pass the guard.
The Tank keeping moving, preventing Raider from controlling successfully.
The Tank trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Raider won't allow The Tank to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Tank is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The Tank working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Raider feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Raider knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Tank on the ground.
Raider is breathing heavily.
The Tank wants to get back to his feet but Raider is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Raider is posturing up here but The Tank has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Raider tries to roll out but it's too tight and Raider has to tap! Slick submission there by The Tank!
