Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Plenty Raines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Raines might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to A Warriors Call. Roberto Hernandez acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Plenty Raines! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roberto Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raines avoids the head kick by Hernandez.
Hernandez throws a hook but Raines avoids it easily. Hernandez looks to land a combination. Raines sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Raines keeps the fight on the outside. Hernandez throws a head kick that misses. Raines rushes Hernandez and presses him up against the cage. Hernandez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Raines blocks it with crossed arms. Raines pulls guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Hernandez being controlled here momentarily. Raines is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raines sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hernandez defending well though. Hernandez tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Raines manages to move to mount!
Raines lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hernandez hang on?
That's one minute gone in the round. Raines controlling from the full mount. Raines postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hernandez looks a forlorn figure.
Raines landing strikes from the mount. Hernandez's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Raines is working for a guillotine from mount but Hernandez frees his head quite easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Raines with the ground and pound from mount. Raines has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Raines dominating with strikes here.
It looks like Roberto Hernandez has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raines lands a big shot there that rocks Hernandez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That has opened up Roberto Hernandez's cut even more. Raines loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hernandez scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Raines land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Raines stands and salutes the crowd.
