Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Cawvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagat has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Ty Sagat will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Logan Cawvey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ty Sagat! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cawvey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sagat manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sagat looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Cawvey scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cawvey stands up over Sagat, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cawvey seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sagat avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cawvey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cawvey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A momentary lapse in concentration from Sagat enables Cawvey to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sagat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cawvey is stalling in the full guard. Cawvey advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cawvey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sagat's head. Cawvey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cawvey frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sagat is in a horrible position here. Cawvey smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cawvey lands a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cawvey sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cawvey lands a big elbow. Cawvey looking for a guillotine from mount but Sagat is having none of it. Sagat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Poor strikes thrown by Cawvey there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cawvey has hold of Sagat's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sagat manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cawvey is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sagat has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sagat is trying to escape the mount but Cawvey keeps good control and instead manages to take Sagat's back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Cawvey dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cawvey misses with a head kick.
Cawvey throws a head kick that misses. Cawvey tries to clinch up but Sagat circles away and keeps his distance. Cawvey throws a leg kick but Sagat sees it coming and checks it nicely. Sagat blocks a head kick by Cawvey.
Cawvey scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cawvey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cawvey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cawvey controlling the position from side mount. Sagat is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cawvey stands up and we're back to a striking position. Cawvey shoots in and bounces Sagat off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sagat keeping moving, preventing Cawvey from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cawvey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sagat, up you get! Cawvey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cawvey content to control rather than advance. Cawvey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sagat can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cawvey is keen to just control but Sagat is a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Logan Cawvey. Cawvey looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cawvey trying to control the position from guard on top but Sagat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cawvey pushes down on Sagat's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cawvey stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Cawvey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sagat quickly recovers to half guard. Cawvey decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cawvey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sagat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cawvey somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Cawvey dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Cawvey throws a hook to the side of Sagat's head but Sagat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sagat gets caught flat footed, as Cawvey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cawvey stands up from guard. Let's bang! Cawvey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sagat doesn't seem bothered though. Logan Cawvey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cawvey throws out a leg kick but Sagat moves out of range and Cawvey only half commits. Cawvey misses with a double jab.
Cawvey gets the takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sagat is trying to buck Cawvey off. Cawvey is looking to take a break and control but Sagat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sagat is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Cawvey landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Cawvey throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cawvey working the ground and pound but Sagat is defending the strikes. Cawvey working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cawvey stands up and beckons Sagat to his feet. Cawvey clinches up with Sagat and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cawvey stalling.
Cawvey wants to take the fight to the mat but Sagat manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Cawvey has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cawvey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sagat has him pressed against the cage. Sagat managing to block the knees to the body from Cawvey.
Cawvey pulls Sagat into guard.
Cawvey pushes Sagat off and gets back to his feet.
Sagat tries to clinch up but Cawvey circles away and keeps his distance. Sagat tries to clinch but Cawvey moves out of range. Cawvey drives through with a takedown into Sagat's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sagat is looking to stand back up but Cawvey counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sagat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cawvey stops Sagat from getting back to his feet.
Sagat pushes Cawvey off but Cawvey dives into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cawvey controlling the position from side mount. Sagat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cawvey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Logan Cawvey showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cawvey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
