Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hales Tigris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hales Tigris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Brown! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tigris shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Tigris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tigris closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Tigris pushes Brown against the ropes but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tigris is looking to improve his position but Brown isn't that keen on the idea. Tigris regains half guard. Brown tries to pass to full mount but Tigris defends it. Tigris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back! Brown manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tigris's guard. Nice work there by Brown.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tigris wants to sweep but no luck. Tigris throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Brown preventing the sweep. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tigris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brown counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hales Tigris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Brown trying to control but Tigris is working from the bottom. Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tigris swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tigris has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brown should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tigris has tightened it up now! Brown should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hales Tigris!
