Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tompsons pulls Everton into guard.
Everton trying to control but Tompsons is working from the bottom.

Tompsons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Everton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Everton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tompsons is keeping the position for now.
Everton wanted to stand there but Tompsons had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Everton with a flurry of punches that miss.

Tompsons uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Everton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tompsons pinned against the cage. Tompsons gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tompsons, right into the meat.
Tompsons throws a one two combo.

Everton is rocked!
Eddie Everton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Everton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tompsons but Tompsons pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Everton is still on wobbly legs! Can Tompsons finish him?
Everton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sean Tompsons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Everton.
Everton looks gassed!

Tompsons shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Everton is on queer street and Tompsons is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
