Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phal Um (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Bede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Bede.
Um tries to clinch up.
Bede drives through and clinches with Um against the cage.
Um tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bede tries to break free but Um pushes him back against the cage.
Bede's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Um has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bede avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bede lands with a right to the head.
Um is looking to control Bede's arms but Bede gets an underhook and turns him. Now Um has his back to the cage.
Um's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Um is looking for a takedown.
Bede pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bede tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bede misses with a body kick.
Bede tries to close the distance and clinch but Um swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Um closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bede to the mat! Bede manages to get full guard.
Bede wants to get back to his feet but Um is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Um throws an elbow that misses. Bede uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Um's guard. Nice move by Bede!

Um working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bede doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bede manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bede would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Bede wants to control from the top but Um keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bede looking to sit in guard and control but Um gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

That's time! Um's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bede breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Horrible takedown by Um or perhaps it was just good defense by Bede which made him look bad.

Um has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Um thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bede's head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bede pushes Um off and gets back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Um chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bede can pounce on him.

Phal Um has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lucas Bede comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bede winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
