Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wyatt Jacobs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Mintz!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs shoots for a double leg takedown but Mintz sprawls well. He's pushed Jacobs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mintz clinches up with Jacobs and pushes him back against the cage.
Jacobs has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mintz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mintz landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Mintz breaks the clinch.
Jacobs on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mintz. Mintz obviously looking to wear him down.
Wyatt Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mintz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mintz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jacobs defends it well.

Mintz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jacobs doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mintz.

Mintz wants to work for an arm triangle but Jacobs is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mintz looking to control but Jacobs is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mintz working for a guillotine from mount but Jacobs is in no mood to give up.
Jacobs avoids a series of strikes thrown by Mintz.
Mintz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Mintz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jacobs is forced to tap! Great finish!
