Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Alvarez Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Reimer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Psychosocial by Slipknot. Reimer has chosen BLUNT- The Iron Maiden as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Alvarez Banner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Caleb Reimer! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banner fails with a takedown attempt. Banner closes the distance and clinches up with Reimer, looking for a takedown. Banner pushes Reimer against the cage but Reimer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Banner closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Reimer wants to clinch. Reimer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Banner checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Banner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A bone on bone clash there as Banner blocks the leg kick.
Reimer throws a leg kick that is checked and Banner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Banner lands a couple of decent looking shots. Banner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reimer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Banner won't allow Reimer to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banner wants to pass the guard but Reimer is keeping the position. Reimer controls Banner momentarily but Banner frees himself. Banner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reimer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reimer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Caleb Reimer was stalling too much, according to the referee. Reimer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Banner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Reimer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Alvarez Banner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Banner moves out of range as Reimer strikes. Reimer misses with a series of wild punches.
Good work by Banner as he checks the leg kick. Reimer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reimer throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Banner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reimer defends it nicely. A leg kick checked by Banner. Banner shoots in for a double leg but Reimer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reimer fails in his attempt to clinch. Banner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reimer but Reimer pushes him off and we're back to square one. Reimer tries to land a leg kick but Banner saw it coming and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reimer throws a quick inside leg kick. Reimer connects with a solid leg kick. Reimer throws a front kick aimed at Banner's knee but Banner avoids it well. Reimer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Banner has a takedown stuffed. Banner moves out of range as Reimer throws a body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reimer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Banner's sensitive parts. Banner shoots in for a double leg but Reimer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caleb Reimer dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Banner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Banner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Banner with a couple of short strikes. Banner looking to finish with strikes here!
Reimer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Reimer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Banner is in the full mount, landing strikes. Banner thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Banner scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reimer is in a horrible position here. Banner smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Banner is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Reimer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Banner with good strikes from the mount here! Reimer wants to hold on but Banner pushes him away. Banner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
A nice elbow there by Banner. Reimer holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Banner tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Banner is landing with some decent strikes but Reimer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Banner thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Banner throws some wild stikes that Reimer manages to avoid easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Banner sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Reimer is looking to get to half guard. Banner is in the full mount, landing strikes. Reimer suckers Banner into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Reimer is now in Banner's guard!
Banner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reimer is one step ahead there. Banner is working hard here to advance position. Bruce Alvarez Banner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reimer tries to stand but Banner is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Banner postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Reimer looks a forlorn figure.
Banner lands a nice shot to the head. Banner throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reimer can't escape the position.

Banner throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Reimer to regain full guard. Reimer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Banner postures up and lands a big shot to Reimer's brow. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reimer is on top in guard.
Banner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reimer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Alvarez Banner dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Reimer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reimer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Banner. Banner dives in and grabs Reimer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reimer pushes down on Banner's head and hops out. Reimer looks to land a body kick but Banner moved away. Reimer has closed the distance and engaged Banner in a clinch.
Banner is trying to push Reimer away but Reimer has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Banner is working for takedown but Reimer is calmly controlling the position for now. Reimer keeps control of Banner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A head punch on the inside from Reimer fails to land. Reimer throws an elbow that misses.
Banner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Alvarez Banner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Banner is trying to push Reimer away but Reimer has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Banner is trying to force a seperation but Reimer has the dominant position. Banner tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reimer smiles and moves away.

Banner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reimer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Banner somewhat. Reimer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reimer looks for the body kick but Banner saw that one coming. Reimer throws a lazy body kick and Banner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A head kick misses from Reimer. Reimer tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reimer throws a nice outside leg kick. Reimer throws a push kick but Banner slaps the foot to one side. Caleb Reimer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Reimer throws a head kick that misses and Banner counters with a shoot takedown. Reimer fights it but they end up in guard. Banner is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Banner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reimer is keeping the position for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reimer is on top in guard.
Reimer passes Banner's left leg - he's now in half guard. Banner wants to improve his position but Reimer is controlling well.

Banner is looking to get to half guard. Banner manages to regain half guard. Good work. Banner is staying active underneath Reimer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Banner wants to get back to full guard. Reimer stalling.
