Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Alberto Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez comes into the arena with Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luis Alberto Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, DeAndre Smith!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Perez shows good takedown defense.
Perez clinches up against the ropes.
Smith tries to score a body lock takedown but Perez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Perez misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Smith.
Perez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Perez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A jab from Perez does it's job there.
Smith blocks a head kick by Perez.
Perez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Perez can't break the clinch.
Perez lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Perez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Luis Alberto Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeAndre Smith.
Perez with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like DeAndre Smith has been cut.

Smith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Perez after a bit of a struggle.
Perez scores with a nice hook to the head.

Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Perez lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Perez takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Smith is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Perez points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Smith wakes up just in time to hear Perez thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luis Alberto Perez!
