7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Dirk! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cliche counters with a takedown into side control. Cliche throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Cliche scoring with punches from side control. Cliche misses with the ground and pound. Cliche looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Cliche throws an elbow but Dirk slips to the side and avoids it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dirk is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Cliche decides to take the fight back to the feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cliche shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dirk pinned against the cage. Dirk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dirk's head. Dirk is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cliche scores with a couple of nice shots. Dirk looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dirk is trying to stand up here but Cliche is controlling him well. Cliche throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
