Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Desingano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Garish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Desingano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Garish! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garish feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garish would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Garish slips nicely into half guard. Garish performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Garish missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Desingano tries to get to full guard but Garish has control of the leg. Still in half guard, Garish seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garish throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Garish wants to take a breather but Desingano is having none of it. Desingano is looking for a sweep. Garish is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Garish has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Desingano is looking to control Garish's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Desingano avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Garish closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Desingano to the mat! Desingano manages to get full guard. Desingano seems keen to control Garish's posture. Desingano is looking for a triangle here but Garish uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Garish is looking to take a break and control but Desingano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Desingano manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Garish gets full guard. Garish keeping full guard, as Desingano tries to pass. Garish is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garish is adopting a defensive guard. Garish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Desingano manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Desingano keeping moving, preventing Garish from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garish advances to half guard. Garish wants to control but Desingano is keeping him busy. Desingano controlling the position for now. Garish controlling the pace. Desingano is looking for a sweep. Garish is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Desingano is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Desingano is looking to escape. Garish is figuring out what he wants to do next.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Todd Garish hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Desingano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Garish swivels and escapes. Garish throws a push kick but Desingano slaps the foot to one side. Desingano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garish paws at him with a jab and circles away. Garish fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Desingano leaves Garish with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Garish fails to land the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Todd Garish dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Garish throws a low kick but it's checked well by Desingano. Dennis Desingano is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Garish drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Todd Garish has got the better of the ground game so far. Garish controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Garish won't allow Desingano to sweep him here. Garish trying to control but Desingano is working from the bottom. Garish throws a big right hand that misses. Garish stopping the sweep attempt from Desingano.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garish trying to control the position from guard on top but Desingano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Todd Garish. Garish looking to score a takedown here. Desingano is defending well but Garish drives through and ends up in Desingano's guard. Desingano working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Garish. Desingano keeping moving, preventing Garish from controlling successfully. Garish preventing the sweep. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Garish wants to control from the top but Desingano keeps moving. Garish thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garish slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Garish decides to stand back up. Garish misses with a few strikes there.
Garish scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Desingano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Garish looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Desingano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garish paws at him with a jab and circles away. Garish shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Desingano's guard. Garish trying to control but Desingano is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garish engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Garish stands up from guard. Let's bang! Garish tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Desingano paws at him with a jab and circles away. Desingano is looking to clinch. Sloppy strikes from Garish. Those never looked like landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Desingano fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Garish shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Desingano sprawls well. Desingano wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Garish gets slowly back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garish. Desingano is looking to clinch but Garish is avoiding it.
Desingano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Desingano clinches with his opponent.
Desingano tries to throw a body punch but Garish avoids it by throwing Desingano back against the cage. Garish fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Todd Garish showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Desingano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Desingano shoots in for a double leg but Garish sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Desingano throws a low kick but it's checked well by Garish. Garish shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Desingano is trying to defend but Garish finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Garish moves nicely into side control. Desingano wants to get back to his feet but Garish drags him back down. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Garish controls the position from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Desingano is trying to get back to half guard. Garish throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Garish wants to control but Desingano is keeping him busy. Garish prevents Desingano from escaping the position. Garish postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Garish passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Desingano! Garish takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Garish looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Garish can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Desingano is looking to escape. Desingano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Todd Garish is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
