The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustayne throws a hook to the side of Munke's head but Munke sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Munke misses with a series of wild punches.
Mustayne looks to land a left hand but Munke moved out of range nicely.
Mustayne throws a good cross that connects.
Mustayne avoids the body shot from Munke.
Munke looks to throw the jab but Mustayne is out of range.
Munke throws an overhand right that lands on Mustayne's shoulder, as Mustayne tries to avoid the shot.
Mustayne pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mustayne keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Munke.
Mustayne slips a straight right by Munke.
Munke throws a hook but Mustayne blocks it.
Munke tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mustayne is able to avoid easily.
Munke moves out of range of the strikes.
Mustayne stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Munke moves forwards but Mustayne connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Munke.
Daryl Munke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Munke throws out a powerful jab.

Mustayne throws a nice looking combination but Munke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Munke swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mustayne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Munke throws a head kick but Mustayne moves out of range.
Munke throws a combination. Mustayne tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Mustayne catches Munke napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Munke to the canvas!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mustayne slips nicely into half guard.
