Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luther Downs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downs has closed the distance and engaged Stone in a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Stone.
The crowd are getting on Stone's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Downs tries to pull guard but Stone holds him up against the cage and eventually Downs drops back down to his feet.
Downs working hard to break the clinch.
Stone lands with a right to the head.
Stone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Stone is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Stone lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Downs can't break the clinch.
Downs prevents Stone from breaking the clinch.
Stone presses Downs against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Downs looking to stall.

Downs changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Downs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Downs off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luther Downs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Downs connects with a solid leg kick.
Stone scores with a shot to the body.
Downs fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Downs is breathing heavily.
Stone lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Luther Downs has been cut.

and Downs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Stone lands a nice hook to Downs's body. Downs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Downs looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Downs has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stone finds it's way round the side to connect with Downs's head.
Downs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stone tries to bum rush Downs with a series of wild strikes but Downs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A punch combination from Stone misses.
No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stone lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Luther Downs's cut is getting worse.
Stone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Decent striking displayed by Stone there.
Stone is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Stone lands a left and a right that send Downs crashing to the mat, dazed. Stone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Downs is rocked!
Downs is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Stone just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Downs has gone limp and this one is over!
