The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stinson lands a nice hook to Sachs's body. Sachs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stinson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sachs.
Stinson throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Sachs counter with a right hand.
Sachs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stinson sprawls well initially but Sachs persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sachs wants to control but Stinson is keeping him busy.
Stinson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stinson.
Sachs trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sachs trying to control but Stinson is working from the bottom.
Sachs advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sachs has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Stinson defend it? Sachs steps over the head and cranks it - Stinson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sachs!
