Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Trout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrik Send (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Trout looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Trout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patrik Send!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Send tries for a takedown but Trout circles away easily

and Trout counters with a single leg into guard. Send didn't expect that.
Send is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Send trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Send seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Send is working an open guard so Trout takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Trout slips a jab and a cross from Send.
Trout changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Send tries to avoid it but Trout manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Send to the ground. Send escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trout shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Send sprawls well. Send wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trout gets slowly back to his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Trout. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trout is breathing heavily.
Send misses with the combination.
Send throws a head kick but Trout moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Send shoots in and drives through. Trout sprawls well.
Send closes the distance and clinches up with Trout, looking for a takedown. Send pushes Trout against the cage but Trout circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Send fails with a takedown attempt.

and Trout counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Send is trying to keep Trout in close.

Send working for a triangle but Trout defends it easily.
Trout wants to pass the guard but Send is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trout not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Trout is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trout scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Send being controlled here, momentarily.
Trout sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Send's guard.

Trout is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Send defends it well.
Trout controlling the action here.

Trout prevents Send from standing back up.
Send is trying to get back to full guard.
Trout trying to control from half guard but Send is working away.

Trout seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Send is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
