The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crouch lands a left and a right that send Jackson crashing to the mat, dazed. Crouch thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Clyde Jackson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson misses with an uppercut.
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crouch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.
Jackson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crouch. That one must have hurt.
A head kick by Crouch - that's a beauty! Jackson is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Crouch can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Peter Crouch!
An out of breath Peter Crouch thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
