PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pile Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Plo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver comes to the cage accompanied by my way. Plo has chosen ISIS - Grinning Mouths as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver avoids the body shot from Plo.
Good leg kick by Driver there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Plo throws a jab but it's blocked by Driver.
Plo checks a low kick from Driver.
Plo throws an overhand right that lands on Driver's shoulder, as Driver tries to avoid the shot.
Driver scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Plo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Driver is defended easily by Plo.
Plo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Driver with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Plo is rocked!
Driver loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Plo scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Driver land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Driver stands and salutes the crowd.
