Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryno Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Anton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Anton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryno Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Anton! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anton moves in looking to clinch but Armstrong pushes him off. Armstrong looking to score a takedown here. Anton is defending well but Armstrong drives through and ends up in Anton's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Anton keeping moving, preventing Armstrong from controlling successfully. Anton wants to stand and escape but Armstrong is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anton wants to sweep here but Armstrong controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ryno Armstrong. Anton misses with a takedown attempt and Armstrong counters with a shoot takedown. Anton fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Armstrong showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Armstrong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Armstrong trying to control but Anton is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Ryno Armstrong wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Anton with a jab. Anton moves into range and clinches up with Armstrong. Armstrong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anton sizes up Armstrong with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Anton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Armstrong defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong shoots in and gets a takedown into Anton's guard. Armstrong postures up in Anton's guard and throws a big left but Anton blocks it. Armstrong throws a big elbow that misses. Anton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Armstrong postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Armstrong's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anton scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Armstrong scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Armstrong is breathing heavily. A left lands for Anton. Armstrong keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ryno Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Anton. Anton misses with a series of wild punches.
Armstrong walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Anton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Armstrong on the side of the head. Armstrong walks into a left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anton with a lazy takedown attempt and Armstrong moves into the clinch. Armstrong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Armstrong throws a series of punches but Anton moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anton stuffs the takedown. Anton misses with a takedown attempt - Armstrong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Anton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Armstrong circles away. Anton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Armstrong's hands. Joe Anton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anton throws a good cross that connects.
Armstrong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Anton. Anton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Anton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Armstrong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Anton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Armstrong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anton somewhat. Anton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Armstrong avoids it really well and circles away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The fight stays on the outside here - Anton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Joe Anton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Anton with a body punch. A glancing blow. Armstrong slaps away a takedown attempt from Anton, before circling back to the center of the mat. Anton lands with a hook. Armstrong tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Anton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Anton has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Armstrong tries to land a leg kick but Anton saw it coming and moves away.
Anton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Armstrong swats him away and circles back towards the center. Anton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Armstrong as he avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Armstrong as Anton shoots in. Ryno Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Anton. Anton jabs Armstrong right on the nose. Armstrong blinks but takes it well. Anton connects with the punch. Anton swings for the body but Armstrong moves out of range.

Armstrong engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Armstrong looking to sit in guard and control but Anton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Armstrong trying to control the position.
Ryno Armstrong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong is pulling down on Anton's head to control his posture. Armstrong working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Anton. Anton trying to control but Armstrong is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joe Anton. Anton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Armstrong doesn't seem bothered though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong takes one on the button. Anton shoots in for a double leg but Armstrong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Anton shoots and misses and Armstrong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anton's guard. Armstrong looking to sit in guard and control but Anton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Anton lands a couple of decent looking shots. Armstrong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anton is one step ahead there. Armstrong wants to control but Anton passes easily into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anton is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Anton prevents Armstrong from improving his position. Armstrong is working hard here to advance position. Anton lands strikes from half guard. Anton is nestled in close to Armstrong, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anton throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Anton slips a nice elbow through Armstrong's hands, connecting with Armstrong's forehead. Anton working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Anton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Armstrong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Armstrong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Anton fails with the takedown. Joe Anton seems to be getting the better of the standup. Armstrong defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anton. Armstrong shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Anton is staying active underneath Armstrong, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Armstrong is thwarting Anton's attempts to control the position. Anton is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Anton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Armstrong looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Anton! Anton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Anton is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Armstrong is staying active. Anton working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong trying to control but Anton is having none of it. Anton tries to hold on but Armstrong pushes him away.

Nice jab by Anton. Anton is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Anton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Anton lands a glancing blow to the side of Armstrong's head. Anton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Armstrong is not content to let Anton control the position. Anton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anton scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Armstrong is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Anton scores with a couple of nice shots. Anton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Armstrong keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Anton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Anton lands with a punch from half guard. Anton is looking to take a break and control but Armstrong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Armstrong is trying to control but Anton manages to pass to mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anton trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Anton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Anton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
