Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Shamaani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamaani comes to the cage accompanied by You're the Best. Ribbler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bad Religion - Submission Complete. Ibbe Ribbler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Shamaani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ibbe Ribbler! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamaani scores with a takedown into Ribbler's guard. Shamaani postures up.
Ribbler looking for a sweep. Not yet Ribbler, not yet. Shamaani passes Ribbler's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ribbler is defending against the submission attempts here by Shamaani.
Ribbler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Shamaani. Shamaani wants to pass to mount but Ribbler is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamaani not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Shamaani is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ribbler defends it well. Ribbler has hold of Shamaani's hands but Shamaani slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Shamaani has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shamaani thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ribbler's head. Ribbler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shamaani is working away from the top position though. Ribbler makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ribbler.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ribbler is trying to keep Shamaani in close.
Ribbler can't keep his opponent in guard - Shamaani advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Shamaani looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ribbler wants to get back to full guard. Shamaani is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamaani passes to side control. Shamaani throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Shamaani has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ribbler is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Shamaani yanks on the arm and Ribbler is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Shamaani.
