Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evan Trigg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Udo Hitzlsperger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Trigg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Udo Hitzlsperger! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trigg moves out of range as Hitzlsperger strikes. Trigg misses with a straight right. Trigg throws a wild body kick that Hitzlsperger sees coming a mile off. Hitzlsperger misses with a low kick.
Hitzlsperger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Trigg's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hitzlsperger keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Trigg's head. Hitzlsperger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trigg swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hitzlsperger passes into half guard. Hitzlsperger is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Trigg taking some punishment here, with Hitzlsperger in his half guard. Trigg is not content to let Hitzlsperger control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trigg regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hitzlsperger. Hitzlsperger trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hitzlsperger with a flurry of punches that miss. Hitzlsperger throwing strikes from guard but Trigg blocks nicely. Hitzlsperger advances to half guard. Hitzlsperger thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Trigg's head. Hitzlsperger trying to control the action but Trigg is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hitzlsperger passes to side control. Hitzlsperger scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Trigg to see if he's OK. Hitzlsperger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trigg keeps working. Hitzlsperger creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hitzlsperger cracks Trigg with a big right hand but Trigg just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hitzlsperger tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Hitzlsperger working the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitzlsperger creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Trigg sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Trigg tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hitzlsperger wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hitzlsperger misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Hitzlsperger grinds an elbow into Trigg's temple. Trigg takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Hitzlsperger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hitzlsperger taking a break here but Trigg is having none of it and regains half guard. Hitzlsperger not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hitzlsperger stops Trigg from getting back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hitzlsperger raining down hammerfists from mount. Hitzlsperger throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Hitzlsperger scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Trigg is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Whack. That's a big, big shot from Hitzlsperger! Trigg is out cold! This one is all over!
