Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cameron Christianson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cody Ramus!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Ramus.
Ramus fails to land with a series of punches.
Ramus scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ramus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Christianson.
Ramus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Christianson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ramus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Christianson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ramus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ramus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Christianson is trying to keep Ramus in close.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ramus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ramus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ramus slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Christianson, who protects the arm well.
Ramus tries for a kimura but Christianson is defending well.
Ramus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Christianson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ramus misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramus looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ramus has hold of Christianson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Christianson seems comfortable defending it but Ramus has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Christianson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Christianson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ramus couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Cody Ramus!
