Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aadilou Ankutse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skull Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankutse comes to the cage accompanied by i ka kane . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aadilou Ankutse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skull Crash! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ankutse tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crash swivels and escapes. Ankutse fails to land the takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ankutse. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aadilou Ankutse. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ankutse is defended easily by Crash. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ankutse. Crash dodges the punch combination from Ankutse.
Aadilou Ankutse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ankutse tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ankutse somewhat. Crash is looking to land body kicks. Ankutse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ankutse seems to be working for a kimura but Crash defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ankutse is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ankutse is thwarting Crash's attempts to control the position. Crash is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ankutse trying to control from half guard but Crash is working away. Ankutse moves nicely into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crash can do anything to dispel that myth. Ankutse postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ankutse wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Crash, who protects the arm well. Ankutse trying to control the action but Crash is working from the bottom. Ankutse tries for a kimura but Crash is defending well. Crash sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ankutse throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ankutse thows a huge punch but Crash dodges it nicely.
Ankutse is working for a submission of some sort.
Ankutse is looking for a kimura but Crash is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ankutse to get the leverage. Ankutse is working for a submission of some sort.
Crash manages to get to full guard.
Crash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ankutse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ankutse stands and throws Crash's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ankutse is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crash knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ankutse goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Crash rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ankutse's guard! Nice work there by Crash! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ankutse wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aadilou Ankutse dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ankutse lands with a nice combination. Crash backs away looking to recover. Ankutse has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Crash. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ankutse. A solid leg kick lands there for Crash.
Ankutse shoots in for a double leg but Crash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A slapping leg kick lands for Crash.
Ankutse fails with the takedown and Crash makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aadilou Ankutse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crash wants to slow Ankutse down by chopping away at his legs. Crash tries a head kick but it misses.
Crash misses with a wild body shot. Ankutse throws a series of punches but Crash avoids them all with ease. Ankutse shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crash defends it nicely. Ankutse misses with a takedown attempt and Crash counters with a nice kick to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That kick from Crash tenderised Ankutse's leg. Ankutse is trying to keep his angry face on. Ankutse takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ankutse tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Crash lands with a nice body punch. Crash tries to land a leg kick but Ankutse saw it coming and moves away.
Ankutse stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crash. Ankutse chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crash can pounce on him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Crash, right into the meat.
Crash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ankutse doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crash makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ankutse fails with a takedown attempt. Crash tries a head kick but it misses.

Crash controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Ankutse is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crash is just riding it out for now. Ankutse eventually gives up the hold. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Skull Crash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Ankutse throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Crash tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ankutse is in Crash's guard. Ankutse wants to pass the guard but Crash is keeping the position. Crash managing to control the position. Crash has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ankutse off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Crash displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ankutse.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ankutse with a lazy takedown attempt and Crash counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ankutse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crash as he jumps to the side. Crash throws a push kick but Ankutse slaps the foot to one side. Crash dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ankutse. That did some damage! Ankutse is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Ankutse fails with the takedown and Crash counters with a good low kick that Ankutse was not able to check. Crash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ankutse doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crash makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Crash fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ankutse has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Crash throws a head kick that half lands.

Ankutse shoots and misses and Crash counters with a nice leg kick. Crash throws a leg kick which misses Ankutse's front leg but catches the back leg as Ankutse tries to avoid it. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Crash. Ankutse shrugs it off though. Crash thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ankutse if he has to take too many more of those.
A head kick from Crash lands but Ankutse takes it in his stride. Crash fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ankutse has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A chopping leg kick lands by Crash. Crash throws a nice outside leg kick. Crash scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ankutse takes a kick to the side of the head. Crash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ankutse fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash throws a front kick that sends Ankutse stumbling back into the cage. Ankutse looks for a takedown but Crash sprawls well. Crash scores with a leg kick.
Crash is looking to slow Ankutse down with leg kicks. Crash connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Crash throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Crash thumps Ankutse with a low kick. Ankutse tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Crash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A slapping leg kick lands for Crash.
Crash misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that's the end of the fight! Skull Crash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Crash has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Skull Crash! After the fight, Skull Crash was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
