The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurtz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Odin's sensitive parts.
Odin has his takedown stuffed
and Kurtz makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Odin really felt that one!
Walter Kurtz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Odin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Odin throws an overhand right that lands on Kurtz's shoulder, as Kurtz tries to avoid the shot.

Odin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Odin there as he acknowledges the shot.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A determined Walter Kurtz didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
