Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justin Riddle could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryu Jin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Riddle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Jin!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddle cracks Jin with an open hand slap.
Riddle slips a jab from Jin.
Jin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Riddle throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Riddle lands a leg kick that knocks Jin off balance momentarily.
Riddle just misses with a punch to the body.
Jin swings widly with a right hand
and Riddle counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A punch lands to the side of Jin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riddle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Jin tries to keep at a distance but Riddle has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Riddle misses with an uppercut.

Jin throws the kick towards the body but Riddle avoids it.

Riddle lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jin will feel that in the morning.
Jin throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jin tries to land a front kick but Riddle steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Riddle. That did some damage!
Riddle throws a hook to the side of Jin's head but Jin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Riddle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Riddle is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Riddle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryu Jin dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jin. Riddle does a little dance to reset his feet.

Both fighters circling a little - Jin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Riddle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Riddle feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Riddle is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Riddle just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jin's brow.

That was a close second round but I would say that Justin Riddle will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Riddle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Riddle misses with a body shot.
Jin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Jin counters with an inside leg kick.

Riddle blocks the body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Justin Riddle.
I think Riddle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
